What was once a wealthy and powerful city has now gone steadily downhill since Mount Fervens erupted thirty years ago. Much of the city was destroyed along with the farms on the volcano's side. Having lost their primary source of income, the town struggles. The Adoption Centre was set up here to help Pokémon made homeless by the eruption.
