Liz is a woman best described a a genuine sweetheart. She has a full measure of the pleasant personality type the Joy family are known for, combined with a perhaps more than healthy dollop of curiosity and a large measure of a mischievous sense of adventure. Her desire to break away from the mold of her family name combined with the natural desire to help others that runs in her family, has led to her becoming a doctor.
Strong of will, Liz has made her own way in the world, defying everyone's expectations and blazing a trail all her own. While she is perfectly proficient in the art of compromise, she is none the less not one to take well to being ordered around. She questions everything, always wanting to know the reasoning behind what she is being asked to do. At least, when it's not obvious why she's being asked something.
Extremely loyal, once Liz has accepted you as one of her own, that's a family you'll never really be able to leave. She gives her heart freely, always willing to take a chance and give someone a bit of trust.

Standing at some five feet six inches tall, Liz is hardly a tall woman, though she's not overly short either. She has a curved hourglass figure, with wide hips and a fairly generous bust. She carries little extra weight beyond that which gives her the curved figure she is so proud of.
The Joy family are known for a particular colouring. Pale skinned, pink haired and blue eyed, they can be found manning the desks of pokemon centers world wide. Elizabeth is no exception to this. Her wide eyes are a strong mid blue in shade, while her hair is a colour best described as bubblegum pink. She wears her hair short, and it tends to be a little ragged, due to the fact that when she gets absorbed in her work she will often forget to stop and get it cut until it starts getting in her way.
Liz tends towards a rather practical mode of dress. Many pocketed cargo pants provide plenty of spaces to keep the things she needs, while a belted tunic is topped by a heavy duty vest with more pockets. Her gloves tend to be fingerless, protecting her hands and keeping them warm without impeding her use of her sense of touch as a diagnostic tool. She has a set of glasses that she is often seen wearing. Liz suffers from Myopia and needs her glasses to see objects in the distance. She also has a pair of corrective goggles, for times when something a bit more all encompassing is needed.

History
Age 0
- Elizabeth is born, the third of several pink haired daughters of Nurse Elspeth Joy, the woman in charge of the Witton City Pokemon Centre.
- Right from the start she is a troublesome child, always seeking to stand out from the mass of her siblings and cousins.
Age 10
- For a time Elizabeth toys with the idea of becoming a police officer when she's old enough to get a job, after spending a 'bring your child to work' day with her cousin Andrea Jenny and her mother.
Age 16
- Rhys settles as a Meganium. It is a surprise to the family that he has not settled as a chansey, blissey of audino as is most common for them, but less of a surprise to Liz and Rhys, who have always known they weren't cut out for life behind a pokemon center desk.
- Liz and Rhys decide that, rather than follow in the family profession, they would take a slightly different path. They begin taking classes to set themselves up for a career as doctors once they leave school.
Age 18
- Graduates from school.
- Begins training to be a pokemon doctor
Age 23
- Finishes Medical degree and starts residency
Age 25
- Finish their residency
- Choose to take up as a traveling pokemon doctor, visiting those places too small or out of the way to have a pokemon center, and treating wild pokemon as well.
- Liz and Rhys decide to travel to Pine labs and request a pokemon to accompany them on their travels

Views on Form
It took them a while to get used to it, but Liz and Rhys have both come to love his settled form. While he's hardly a traditional nurse's daemon, they both feel that be suits them far better than the chansey/blissey or audino which is expected of their family. A meganium form can be just as useful in the field of healing, without leaving them feeling trapped into following a particular path.

Like most deamons, Rhys as the same fundamentally kind personality as his human counterpart.
Rhys is more guarded that his human is in the matter of interactions with others. He tends to be somewhat suspicious when it comes to the motives of others, less willing to extend trust without proof it is not misplaced. Give another an inch, and Rhys will be watching closely to see if they try to take more.
He takes his responsibility to his human seriously. There have been many times when he has been all that stood between her and danger, whether from another of from her own habits, and he has always taken that position gladly. For the ones he cares about, Rhys will do almost anything, and, as is right and proper, there is nothing and no-one he cares about more than his Elizabeth.

Rhys is definitely easy to pick out from a crowd. This is due mainly to the fact that he stands a full foot taller than the average meganium. Now this might not sound like much, until you recall that the average meganium is nearly six feet tall. At just under seven feet tall, Rhys towers over just about everybody and sometimes has to duck to get through doorways.
His skin is a slightly darker shade of green than is usual in a meganium, while his petals are a pleasing shade of pink, graduating towards purple as they join with his neck. His petals have yellow and white markings and white edges. They have a rounded edge to them when compared to the petals of a normal meganium, shaped more like the smooth petals of a rose than the wavy petals a hibiscus.
