Victors from Sulchester Gym earn the Wave Badge. The gym specialises in Water types. The gym leader's name is Rupert. He's an old man, but still extremely fit and healthy. He is extremely calm, rarely losing his temper. The years have made him very patient. Very unusually, his dæmon is a male, the same gender as him. His name is Quinten, and takes the form of a Gorebyss. He has other Pokémon, but will fight challengers with one level 33 Pokémon, one level 34 Pokémon and one level 36 Pokémon from the list below.
