APPEARANCE
Kait is 5'9" and has black hair cut short, the ends falling approximately at her ears. She looks like a pokemorph mainly because of the dark circles around her eyes that make her look permanently exhausted, or like someone has just beaten her up. Her body is not very toned in terms of muscle, but she is stronger than she looks and can gain an advantage of an opponent in this way. One thing she is very careful not to do is to allow the patch of fuzzy black fur randomly appearing on her right elbow to be seen by others, seeing as it is very ticklish and she is ashamed of the way it looks. Thus, she tends to wear long sleeves even in the summer when she pairs a long sleeved shirt with shorts.
She has a habit of chewing gum incessantly, and she prefers fruity flavors such as watermelon. Her clothes tend to be in neutral colors because she likes to blend in, so she tends to wear mostly brown, dark green, and black. Her overall body shape is not very womanly, but she has come to accept this as one of the many weird things about her body that she cannot change.
PERSONALITY
Kait is a natural leader, but can come across as overbearing to people and pokemon because of her insistence on always getting her way. She has a violent temper, but tends to analyze the situation before jumping headfirst into battle. She is also very possessive and if anyone tries to touch what she believes to be hers, she is likely to go flying off the handle and into a full-out rage. Without Nemo to balance her out, she would likely have gotten herself killed in a street brawl years ago simply from her overestimation of her strength and her love for fighting.
It took her years to feel okay with being a pokemorph; she hated herself as a child and always longed to be "normal" before rebelling against the idea that normality is something that must be striven for. As such, she has become more accepting of her looks and of her mood swings and if someone tries to tell her that she is not acting in a polite or societally acceptable way, she gets furious nearly instantly. She can leave one of her rages as quickly as she flies into it, which gives her a reputation for having a volatile personality and no one knows where she's going to be next.
HISTORY
She was supposed to be born normal, human, emotionally stable. She was supposed to be a loved child, admired by her peers, beloved by humans and pokemon alike. But that was before her mother underwent genetic experiments while pregnant, and when the baby was born, the black circles around her bright blue eyes marked her as an outsider. Her mother grudgingly took care of her, but there was not much love between the pair, and Kait often sought love from Nemo, her daemon, more than from her mother.
Ever since she was young, Kait has wanted to retaliate to bullying taunts with physical violence, and as such has obtained a reputation as a fighter in the small town where she comes from. She is okay with this and considers it better to be known as violent than simply to be known by appearances, and everything she does is in the interest of getting people to think better of her (although this usually doesn't work). Her childhood was not very exciting overall, and she always sought a way out of her small town to explore the world and show off her talents.
Kait's mother left when she was fifteen - no one knew if she was alive and ran away, or dead, but the rumors pegged Kait as the murderer even though there was no body to be found. She was exiled from the town and has begun life as a wanderer, not entirely sure what she was doing with her life until she happened upon a pokemon gym. She observed a gym challenge and got inspired, believing that perhaps she might be able to get accepted for her strength (if not for her personality) if she won some gym battles. As such, she has begun a journey towards Professor Pine's lab in the interest of getting her first pokemon.image (optional)nemo

Views on Form(s): When her daemon's form first manifested in this way, Kait was upset to have yet another reminder of her abnormality following her around everywhere, but she has come to see Nemo as someone who it is her responsibility to protect. She likes the way his form makes him look similar, yet not completely the same, to her, and she has a sinister satisfaction with the fact that her pokemorph form is his evolved form, which in her mind makes her stronger than him.
APPEARANCE
He looks like an ordinary pancham save for his size, which is larger than usual, and the fact that he chews on various kinds of twigs, not just bamboo.
PERSONALITY
Nemo is plucky, but prefers to avoid conflict whenever he can. He prefers to play jokes on people rather than attack, and he is usually the voice of reason shouting tactics to Kait from the side of the battlefield.
