Application Form

[Birdybot]

You have three options when deciding which form to use for submitting your character; the basic form, the advanced form and freeform. Whichever form you use won't affect whether or not you get accepted.

Basic Form
This is the simple application form that isn't full of big blocks of code. It contains all the same fields, just in a different format.

Name: Obvious
Alias: Anything else your character goes by?
Age: Again, obvious
Birthday: Month and day
Gender: Male, female or anything in between or outside of
Sexuality: Heterosexual, bisexual, questioning, etc.
Species: Human or Pokémorph. If Pokémorph, which species of Pokémon? Note: You must already have a human character before making a Pokémorph.
Occupation: Trainer, breeder, or coordinator. Can also have another career - researcher, writer, merchant etc.

APPEARANCE

At least two paragraphs. Remember that if you're going to make your character a Pokémorph they won't just have cutesy ears and a tail, there will be more nasty mutations with scars, random patches of fur/scales/feathers/whatever and the like. The process is far from perfected. Also unless it's a Pokémorph mutation, eyes don't change colour. This is done surprisingly often and is a pet hate of mine. Maybe as you get older they might go darker, but they certainly don't change depending on your mood.

PERSONALITY

At least two paragraphs. Should show likes, dislikes, good points and bad points. Try and make it realistic. If they have had a bad past, it will show on their personality; they may be quiet, reserved, angry, etc.

HISTORY

At least three paragraphs about their past. This doesn't have to be some epic table of kidnap and escape or tragic childhood abuse, no-one will mind if your character has a fairly ordinary past. There will still be some events of significance, even if they seem normal.

Gender: Almost always the opposite gender to your character.
Form (if settled): What Pokémon does the dæmon look like? If it hasn't settled yet, delete this field. It will have settled by the age of around 15, although occasionally some 'forced' Pokémorphs' dæmons may not be able to settle.
Favourite Forms (if not settled): The forms they take the most. Remember that dæmons settle here around the age of 15 or so. Delete this if the dæmon has settled.
Age Settled: If the dæmon has settled, how old were they and their human when it stopped changing forms?
Views on Form(s): How your character feels about their favourite forms, and if settled how both of them feel about that form. Remember that the settled dæmon's form reflects on the character's personality, so while the dæmon usually feels happy with its form neither of them have any choice in it and the human might be disappointed. Plenty have wanted big tough dæmons like a Gyrados or Mightyena and ended up with something like a Skitty.

Dæmons look like ordinary Pokémon, but that doesn't mean they don't have small differences. Things like more fluff, slightly small, a little marking, etc, are allowed. Nothing too extreme unless there's some genetic thing like their human is a Rattata 'morph so they always have a little purple fur on their ear or something.

Dæmons are a lot like their humans in personality, but are still different so to help their human go through life.

Advanced Form

Freeform
The third option is to design your own profile format. So long as your application includes at least all the fields included in the basic application, it can by done in whatever design you want. You can also include more fields if you want. Remember not to use a template you didn't make without permission! Please say if you did make your template yourself so people don't steal yours.
